Too lazy to leave my home and decided to order in- food arrives within 30 mins n that is considered super fast. The delivery guy was polite and good service excellence n what made my day was the portion from Putra Minang is alot and they have never failed me' food, portion , waste and presentation were above excellent. I am satisfied even with the choice of menu I picked the meal was really good. A big thank upu to the team and staff at Putra Mnang. You are definitely my choice of Padang restaurant and I highly recommended.

Putra Minang food concept really tuck within city town. Inside here shall complete any rice eating lovers. The platter come complete with sambal paru, terong sumbat, sambal goreng & many more. But their signature rendang minang do really stand out. Rendang meat Cooked with all the spices & felt easy eating texture. Rare moments & absolutely goodness.

Authentic Padang food (not Malay style) Their beef rendang is the best in SG hands-down, it's spicy, fragrant, and umami. Always ask for extra rendang gravy on your rice. They used to have several branches but now the Bencoolen branch is the only one remaining. Will try to visit often to support the biz, authentic Padang cuisine is hard to come by in SG.

Everything tastes fresh and flavorful. The place is Halal and conveniently located next to Bencoolen Mosque, surrounded by many affordable hotels — perfect for visitors exploring Singapore. Highly recommended for anyone craving real Padang food!

You could miss this Indonesian restaurant with its unassuming shopfront. And what a miss that would be, for the food here is honest … served cafeteria-style on plain white crockery and stainless steel cutlery by their equally unassuming, warm and honest staff. Dig into their rendangs (the moist morsels of mutton fare better than the rather more fibrous beef) and curries (the ayam gulai is a must!) with gusto. Savour their range of vegetable dishes like sambal goreng, terung belado, bitter gourd with egg, sayur lodeh, lemak nangka … my favourite is gulai sayur sawi, collard greens cooked in a lemongrass and turmeric-infused gravy, a mildly, warmly spiced savoury that provides relief for some of the hotter options. Their pergedil is a substantial side with ample shredded. If you like spicy like me, their sambal belado is a condiment that is full and round; but also give their Cabe ijo a try — it comes with more personality, I feel. They have quite a wide range of items that includes some deep-fried seafood and chicken. Do also sample their desserts, like chendol and ais teler, which are an ideal way to end your meal. Servings are ample and the staff are relaxed and helpful. What more can we ask for To avoid disappointment when dining in during peak hours, call in advance to book a table (yes, they host events).

the beef rendang was incredibly good, sauce on point and meat was tender. $9.60 for this is quite reasonable as quite a lot of meat was given update: went again after they reopened from renovation, standard is still there
